Members of Park City Medical Center’s Governing Board work together, volunteering their time and abilities without pay for the good of patients and the entire community.

    Robert Allen is chief executive officer of Park City Medical Center. He has served as CEO of hospitals in Wyoming, New Jersey, Massachusetts, and Utah, and is a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives.

    He received his MBA from Utah State University and BS in operations management from Brigham Young University. An active member of his community, Robert has twice been chairman of the Wyoming Hospital Association, and has served on the boards of several chambers of commerce, foundations and other organizations. A native of Wyoming, Robert enjoys golf, skiing and hiking with his wife Becky and three children, Taylor, Teri, and Jami.

    Dr. Allen has been in private practice in Coalville and Kamas since 1984 and currently holds staff privileges at Park City Medical Center, Heber Valley Medical Center, McKay Dee Hospital, Primary Children’s Medical Center, University of Utah Hospital and Salt Lake Regional Medical Center. He and his wife of 39 years, Rebecca, are the proud parents of four children and three granddaughters.

As a member of the Governing Board, Alma helps us to understand the needs of the Latino community and assists us in making sure those needs are met.

Throughout his career, Rich has facilitated the merger of several health benefit companies, served as president and CEO of Regional Insurance Managers, has been a managing partner of Scripworld(PBM), served as president of national sales for Performax and was president of national sales operations for Meritain Health, where he is now currently a managing director. Rich has lived in Park City for 16 years.

    He previously was chief of surgery at TOSH-The Orthopedic Specialty Hospital in Salt Lake City, and is currently a team physician for the U.S. Ski Team and the U.S. Snowboard Team. He graduated with his BA from the University of Utah and received his medical degree from Harvard Medical School. Dr. Cooley completed his internship and residency at the University of Washington. He and his wife Rebecca have five children, including two sets of twins.

    He attended the University of Utah and UCLA and in 1988 purchased the Wilhelmina Model Agency. He sold this business in 2009 and now is the president of the US Team Handball Federation, which is an Olympic sport. Dieter has lived in Park City since 2004 and has served as a Park City Medical Center board member since 2008. Dieter has one daughter and enjoys traveling, skiing, golf and of course, has a passion for Team Handball.

    A 20+ year resident of Park City, Bill is a Senior Vice President at a boutique office for Morgan Stanley. An active leader and volunteer in the community, Bill has served on many local boards and was a “National Ambassador” for The Salt Lake Organizing Committee for the 2002 Olympic Winter Games. Bill was also a member of the Utah Executive Finance Committee for Presidential Candidate Mitt Romney as well as being included in the campaign as a “Statesman” and a member of “The First Ballot Club.” Bill is a competitive cyclist, runner, hunter, traveler, outdoor sportsman and surfer. He and his wife Kelly have four children, two boys and two girls.

She previously served on the board of directors of the American Nurses Association and is past president of the American Nurses Credentialing Center. Jan holds a BSN in nursing, a master’s degree in nursing administration and is a board certified nurse administrator.

Becky is a graduate of Pacific Coast Banking School at the University of Washington, did masters work at Boise State University, and holds a BS in Marketing from Idaho State University. She currently serves on the boards of the Park City Chamber of Commerce Executive Board, Youth Winter Sports Alliance, Pacific Coast Banking School and more. She is the recipient of many awards, including Utah Women of Influence and two time recipient of the 25 Most Powerful Women in Banking as well as named to the Most Powerful Team of Women in Banking. Becky and her husband Keith have two children, Thomas and Ryan. She enjoys family and friends, running, skiing, golf, tennis and travel.

    He served as the planning director for Park City from 1995 to 2008, and was closely involved in the planning, development and execution of the 2002 Olympic Winter Games. He has worked in some of the Mountain West’s most rapidly changing communities, including Flagstaff and Sedona, AZ., and Breckenridge, CO. Patrick holds a BS in urban planning and an MA in history from Northern Arizona University. He is married to his wife Andrea and is the father of four sons.

He was president of the Park City Bar Association, is past chairman of the board and president of the Egyptian Theatre Company, and is a former member of the Park City Arts Council. He graduated from the College of St. Thomas at Marquette University with a juris doctorate degree. He is married to Carol Tesch and has four children.

    Prior to becoming the Superintendent, Barry served as a Classroom Teacher, Elementary School Principal, Middle School Principal, District Educational Technology Director and Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor. He has held leadership positions in a variety of organizations including the Utah Secondary Schools Principal Association, Piute and South Summit EMT Associations and is currently serving on the Utah Education Network (UEN) Steering Committee.

    Barry and his wife Diane love the Uintah Mountains and living in Kamas. They take pleasure in serving their church and community groups. In their free time they enjoy traveling to visit their eight children and eighteen grandchildren.
