Park City Medical Center Foundation
Good hospitals have an impact that goes well beyond clinical care and medical advances. They make their communities better places to live.
Philanthropy
Philanthropy has long played an important role in helping hospitals do the most good in the communities they serve. The Park City Medical Center Foundation’s mission is to provide philanthropic support for clinical, structural, and environmental enhancements to the hospital. This helps us provide excellent medical care in an efficient and cost-effective manner. That’s why members of the Park City Medical Center Governing Board and Foundation Board are reaching out to the greater Park City community, since the recently opened Park City Medical Center already needs to expand its services.
The foundation recently reached our $2 million capital campaign goal to build a FOUR ROOM INTENSIVE CARE UNIT.
This will be a crucial element for Park City Medical Center to receive designation as a Level 3 Trauma Center.
This will have an amazing impact on the greater Park City community.
The Foundation is currently seeking funds to build:
- A $1 million state-of-the-art Education Center
- The Education Center will be equipped with the latest technology to enable telecasting from operating rooms, so procedures may be viewed for continuing medical education purposes.
- The Education Center will also become a community resource for medical presentations.
- A shelled third-floor patient wing
Those closest to the Park City Medical Center — the Foundation Board, Governing Board, employees, and medical staff — have been extremely supportive of the campaign. We are at $1.7 million in pledge commitments to-date.
