Finding out that your child has cancer is a difficult experience. You might be wondering how sick your child will be, how your family will adjust to your child’s illness, or even if it is your fault. Research is being done to better understand how children get cancer, as well as the best way to treat it. Our staff would like to offer your family support. We would like to help you learn as much as possible about this diagnosis and assist you to help your child get better as soon as possible.
Many people don’t know that cancer in children is much different from cancer in adults. It should give you hope to know that more than 80 percent of all children with cancer are cured and go on to lead normal lives.
