Primary Children's Hospital Foundation organizes four major fundraising campaigns each year to raise funds for children at the hospital. These campaigns are made possible by thousands of generous volunteers from the community.

Current Events

IHOP Fundraising - December 1 to March 4, 2014
Eat wonderful food and support Primary Children's Hospital.  IHOP restaurants in Utah and southeast Idaho are asking customers to donate $1 or more to buy a paper balloon in support of hospitalized children.  100% of the money donated comes to Primary Children's.  IHOP's fundraising culminates on March 4 when they celebrate National Pancake Day.

Walgreens Fundraising - March 1 - 31, 2014
Walgreens locations throughout Utah and southeast Idaho are asking customers to donate $1 or more to buy a paper balloon in support of Primary Childrdn's Hospital.  100% of the money donated comes to Primary Children's.

National Pancake Day - March 4, 2014
IHOP restaurants in Utah and southeast Idaho will give away short stacks of their famous buttermilk pancakes.  In return, IHOP hopes their guests will make a contribution to Primary Children's Hospital.

Blooming Hope Flower Auction - March 7, 2014 - 6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Purchase beautiful live flower arrangements at this auction during the Home and Garden Festival at South Towne Expo Center.  Arrangements are created on the spot by Every Blooming Thing and 100% raised comes to Primary Children's.

Cookies for Kids at Chick-fil-a - March 11, 2014
Buy a Chocolate Chunk Cookie at any Chick-fil-a restaurants in Utah or Ammon, Idaho, on this day and the purchase price will come to Primary Children's.  That's $1.19 per cookie, so buy lots because they freeze really well. 

KSL Radiothon - March 13, 2014
Broadcasting live from Primary Children's Hospital from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.  KSL launched their fundraising for Primary Children's on February 14, hoping that listeners will pledge their support throughout the month culminating in the Radiothon broadcast.  Click below for more details.

  • Festival of Trees

    Festival of Trees

    After 43 years, the Festival of Trees is a holiday tradition in Utah. The Festival features more than 800 decorated trees, centerpieces, wreaths, mouth-watering goodies, a gift boutique, and entertainment for all ages. All proceeds go to help patients and families at Primary Children’s.

  • Pennies by the Inch

    Pennies by the Inch

    September 15th – October 15th
    Pennies by the Inch® is the oldest door-to-door campaign in the United States, and the only door-to-door fundraising campaign sanctioned by Primary Children’s.  Every donation, down to the penny, goes directly to helping children at Primary Children’s. 

  • KSL Radiothon

    Primary Children's Radiothon

    The KSL Radiothon for Primary Children's is Thursday, March 13, 2014, from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.  KSL NewsRadio has generously provided on-air time and talent to tell the stories of the patients, families, and staff at Primary Children’s Hospital.

  • KSL Telethon

    Telethon

    The Children’s Miracle Network Telethon raises funds to help children at Primary Children’s Hospital. KSL Channel 5 in Salt Lake City and KIDK Channel 3 in Idaho Falls both air local segments featuring children and their families who have been helped at Primary Children's.
