For a child, surgery can be scary. Learn from Scraps, our friendly robot, how he conquers his fears as he explores what will happen when he comes in for surgery. He learns how the doctors will know how much medicine to give, who will be helping him through surgery, and what to expect when he wakes up. The video is designed for children, using language they can understand.
The hospital offers a preadmission class each Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday (except holidays) from 4:30 to 5:30 pm.
