Social workers are located in each inpatient unit and in outpatient clinics

  • When you need assistance with transportation, housing, or have financial concerns, or need to address insurance issues
  • When you are feeling stressed or overwhelmed and need a listening ear.
  • When you need someone to help you problem-solve, prioritize, or set goals
  • When your child needs help adjusting to the hospital
  • When you need ideas to meet the needs of your other children at home
  • When you or your child is grieving a loss
  • When short-term counseling would be helpful to you while your child in the hospital, or even after discharge
