The hospitalist program at Primary Children's provides management of the hospitalized infant, child, and adolescent. Hospitalists provide physician care for children admitted to the hospital who do not have a primary care physician, those whose primary care physician requests hospitalist management, or those whose primary care physician does not have hospital privileges at Primary Children's. Hospitalists also often provide physician care in complex non-intensive care cases.
