The ophthalmology program located at Primary Children's provides diagnosis, treatment, and surgical intervention for a spectrum of pediatric eye conditions for newborns, children, and adolescents, including
- Routine eye exams
- Benign and malignant tumors of the eye
- Congenital cataract and glaucoma
- Other congenital abnormalities
- Retinopathy of prematurity
- Strabismus
The service also sees adults with strabismus (misaligned eyes) and double vision.
