The Transplant Program at Primary Children's Hospital is a collaborative effort with the University of Utah Transplant Program
Primary Children’s Hospital, a leader in pediatric organ transplantation, offers comprehensive evaluation and care to patients who may need an organ transplant. Our mission focuses our efforts on "The Child First and Always" in a family-centered care environment.
Physician leaders in Pediatric Heart, Liver, Kidney and Bone Marrow Transplantation are an integral part of our programs. These innovative leaders have been providing transplant services for over 15 years and participate in ongoing research and best practice care models that provide outstanding outcomes. Our programs service patients from the Intermountain West and beyond.
The news that your child needs a transplant can be extremely challenging. At Primary Children’s Hospital,
our dedicated teams will provide your child the best pediatric medical
care available and help you navigate and understand the complex
transplant process. Your team includes medical physicians, pediatric and
transplant surgeons, nurse practitioners, nurse coordinators, clinical
nurse specialists, social workers, pharmacists, dietitians, and child
life specialists. Providing support for the best possible outcome and improved quality of life is at the heart of the work we do.
Our unique ability to provide excellent care before, during and after surgery sets us apart.
