Healthy Habits for Kids is a program designed to help you and your family change your lifestyle and improve your health.
The program comes in two formats: individual counseling sessions and group classes.
Individual Counseling sessions allow you and your family to meet with a dietitian one-on-on to discuss and improve your family's habits. You can schedule appointments at your convenience and at your own pace. To complete the program you must attend 9 sessions in a 12-month period.
Group Classes offer a series of one-hour classes on nutrition, physical activity, and behavior change. Only 9 classes are required in a 12-month period to complete the program. The standard 12-month series includes 3 "core" classes. Classes are held at many locations throughout the state (check the listing below), and you may start the program anytime a core class is offered.
Service provided under the direction of Primary Children's Medical Center.
