Riverton Hospital - Opening Fall 2009
Intermountain Healthcare’s new Riverton Hospital is located at 3741 West 12600 South in the heart of the growing southwest Salt Lake Valley, serving the communities of South Jordan, Riverton, Herriman, and Bluffdale.
Scheduled to open in the fall of 2009, Riverton Hospital will be a full-service community hospital dedicated to high quality patient care in a welcoming and healing environment.
Riverton Hospital sits on 63 acres and will include a four-story hospital operated by Intermountain Healthcare, a four-story Primary Children’s Medical Center outpatient facility and a four-story physician office building that will house an InstaCare, KidsCare, retail pharmacy and pediatric and obstetric and gynecology physician offices. The Intermountain Southridge Clinic has been operating in temporary facilities on the site since 2005.
The hospital will open with 48 beds, with room to grow to 88, and the campus as a whole will employ an estimated 700 people.
