The Children’s Unit at Riverton Hospital is a 30-bed inpatient unit that provides care for patients who don’t need to travel to Primary Children’s Medical Center to receive care for more complex illnesses.

Riverton Hospital is part of Intermountain Healthcare’s outstanding heart network in the Salt Lake Valley.

 

Our imaging department offers a wide range of high-tech diagnostic equipment to help our staff learn what’s happening to our patients — which means patients can be diagnosed and treated quickly and accurately without driving across the valley.

 

Now, there’s excellent care for everyone — from knee surgery for weekend warriors and gynecological services for women, to orthopedic surgery for injured skateboarders and cataract repair for seniors — all right in your back yard.

 

We’re practicing ‘family-centered care’ at Riverton Hospital, which means each newborn spends as much time as possible in mom’s room.
