Diagnostic Imaging & Radiology

The Radiology Department at Sanpete Valley Hospital seeks to improve patient care outcomes by offering high quality radiology services to all patients. Radiology and imaging services include: Routine x-rays, Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging*, Intravenous pyleograms, Voiding cystourethrograms, Mammography (ACR accredited), Ultrasonography, Operative Cholangiograms, Portable x-rays, and Fluoroscopy. Emergency Services & Life Flight

Sanpete Valley Hospital's Emergency Department provides 24-hour emergency treatment, seven-days-a-week, for acute medical and trauma conditions. We offer our community compassionate attention from our highly trained team of physicians, nurses, technicians and support staff. Currently, over 4,000 patients visit our emergency department each year.

Ambulance services are provided by the North and South Sanpete Ambulance Associations. Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs), are trained to respond to the emergency transport needs of citizens in the community.

We are a station for the Intermountain Healthcare Life Flight service. Through Life Flight, we are able to transport patients and bring highly specialized emergency equipment and medical personnel to our area.

Intermountain Home Care is a full service home health services provider, offering nursing and rehab services, medical equipment and supplies, hospice, and infusion therapy services all in the comfort of your home.

Lab Services

Sanpete Valley Hospital offers a full service laboratory to meet all of your testing needs. Our laboratory personnel are dedicated to assisting you. You do not need to schedule laboratory tests in advance. (435) 462-4139Monday - Friday 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Occupational Therapy

A state licensed occupational therapist provides occupational therapy services to patients at Sanpete Valley Hospital. Patients receive personal attention and can count on caring and genuine concern for their wellness from the occupational therapy department. (435) 462-4147

Physical Therapy

At Sanpete Valley Hospital, our physical therapists provide treatment for a wide variety of conditions. Sanpete Valley Physical Therapy department provides programs for conditions such as: back pain/herniated disc, stroke, head injury, spinal cord injury, multiple trauma, amputation, arthritis, back/neck/head injury, neuromuscular disorder, orthopedic injury, neck pain, post surgery rehabilitation, burn rehabilitation, and sports injury. Respiratory Therapy

An experienced team of respiratory therapists is available to provide many respiratory services. In addition to a full spectrum of inpatient respiratory services, the Sanpete Valley Hospital Respiratory Therapy department also provides the following outpatient services: pulmonary function testing, comprehensive sleep studies, electroencephalography (EEG's), holter and event monitoring, respiratory evaluations/patient education, qualifying oximetry, and CPR classes.
