“The survivorship series helps cancer survivors know how they can live life on their own terms through a better understanding of cancer,” says Jenny Vasquez, a social worker who will be teaching Communication, Insurance, Financial, and Employment Issues, on September 6. “The education series offers sessions that address common areas of concern such as nutrition, exercise, depression, anxiety, prevention, pain management, and financial planning.”

Participants aren’t required to attend all of the classes. Participants should be 16 years of age or older. Light refreshments will be served. To sign up or get more details, please call 801-507-3800.
