The TOSH Living My Best program offers free education classes on a monthly basis. All education classes are free to the public and held in the TOSH auditorium located on the TOSH campus at 5848 S. Fashion Blvd. (300 E.) in Murray.

Back School
This general information class will focus on basic anatomy and how arthritis affects the spine. Participants will learn core exercises to support the spine, methods for moving around the house, and how to increase participation in normal activities of daily living.

This general information class will focus on how to deal with stress and change unhealthy behavior patterns. Participants will learn how stress affects the body, compromises healing, increases the intensity of pain, accelerates the aging process, and weakens the immune system.

Healthy Living with Arthritis
This general information class will focus on what osteoarthritis is, specific exercise techniques, and different ways to manage arthritic symptoms. Participants will also learn about aquatic and land based exercises, lifestyle changes, and the progression of osteoarthritis.

Healthy Nutrition with Arthritis
This general information class will focus on specific nutrition guidelines for arthritic patients. Participants will learn which foods cause inflammation and which supplements work the best. The class will also discuss weight loss concepts and current research on nutrition.
