Hand Therapy

TOSH Physical Therapy offers a dedicated area for hand therapy patients. Our experienced staff of specialty trained Certified Hand Therapists consists of both occupational and physical therapists. 

Hand therapists treat diagnosis relative to the hand, wrist and elbow. 

The certified hand therapists at TOSH design individual treatment programs that help our patients regain motion, function and strength to return to work, sport and everyday life activities. Our hand therapists fabricate custom splints to immobilize and protect or aide in regaining motion after injury or surgery.

TOSH offers its patients the ability to use a computerized work simulator. 

• The BTE duplicates hundreds of “real world” job functions in a clinical setting in order to measure a patient’s capacity to perform work tasks safely and efficiently. 
• The BTE allows therapists to design a return to activity program to meet the individual’s exact needs. 

TOSH certified hand therapists are trained in instrument assisted soft tissue work. Graston technique enables clinicians to effectively assist soft tissue mobilization and detect and treat scar tissue restrictions that affect normal function.
