Services Offered
Astym is a treatment that facilitates proper healing of soft tissue. It also increases strength and reduces the effects of scar tissue.
Cervical and lumbar traction is a treatment that applies force to alleviate stress from the spine to help with pain management.
The Dartfish video analysis is a computer-assisted body movement analysis program that allows the therapist to analyze improper body mechanics associated with a sport or activity. This information can be used to develop a plan to correct improper body mechanics.
Ice with compression that decreases pain and swelling and other effects of inflammation.
A treatment that facilitates proper healing of soft tissue. Increases strength and reduces the effects of scar tissue.
Hand therapy includes splinting, overuse injuries and post-operative care.
Hydrotherapy uses a hot or cold whirlpool to help with pain and improve joint mobility.
Kinesio taping involves using a lightweight, elastic tape that encourages muscle activity and reduces pain.
Neurorehabilitation is a collection of treatment interventions that are case specific and focus on aiding a person's recovery, or help that individual to live a more normal, active, and independent life. The quality of life of a person can be greatly affected by a brain or spinal cord injury, or a medical condition which affects the mobility, cognitive functions, or other physical or psychological processes that have been affected by changes in the nervous system. The goal of neurorehabilitation is to combat those changes and improve quality of life by various therapies.
Orthopedic rehabilitation is treatment of joint and muscle problems throughout the body.
Our pediatric rehabilitation program is for children ages 0-21 and includes diagnostic testing and treatment for a number of child-related illnesses, physical disabilities and other activities that affect a child's daily activities.
Our caring team of speech and language pathologists and audiologists provide evaluation and treatment services for children and adults.
The unloading device is equipment that off-loads a patient's body weight to allow for normal exercise movement patterns without pain.
Meet the Team
Brian attended Kansas Newman University. He is an occupational therapist who specializes in hand therapy.
He is board certified in hand therapy and is a certified hand therapist. He has further training and certification in ASTYM and GRASTON therapy. He is based at the Utah Valley Regional Medical Center's Outpatient Center and has worked for Intermountain Healthcare for seven years.
Brian Bennett practices at:
Daniel graduated from the University of Montana and has worked primarily in
outpatient orthopedics and sports medicine since 2005. Daniel prefers manual therapy
and hands-on interaction with patients with an exercise and flexibility based approach.
Outside of work, he enjoys fishing, hunting, hiking and spending time with his wife
and two children.
Daniel Dunn practices at:
James received his bachelor's degree from BYU and his masters degree in physical therapy from University of the Pacific in California. He has worked for California Children's Services for the past 10 years and has completed many courses on wheelchair seating and positioning. James enjoys spending time with his family, playing basketball and attending BYU sporting events.
James Harvey practices at:
John received his bachelor's and master's degrees in speech language pathology from Brigham Young University and has 16 years of experience.
John specializes in aphasia, cognition, dysphagia (swallowing), modified barium swallow studies, pediatric modified barium swallow studies, patients with stroke, mini-stroke, traumatic brain injury, Parkinson's disease and other neuromuscular diseases.
John Linford practices at:
Jess received undergraduate and graduate degrees from Brigham Young University, and a
doctoral degree from the University of Utah. He was employed by Mayo Clinic in Rochester
Minnesota and worked as audiology director for a surgical group in Sioux City, Iowa before his
current employment at Utah Valley Regional Medical Center. He specializes in the differential
diagnostic testing of hearing and balance disorders for both adult and pediatric populations, as
well as fitting of hearing aids and other assistive listening devices.
Jess Moulton practices at:
John graduated from Brigham Young University with a bachelor's degree. He has a master's degree in physical therapy from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine, Arizona School of Health Sciences.
John has experience in the physical therapy areas of pediatrics, neurological rehabilitation, inpatient, spine care and home healthcare. He has a passion for outpatient orthopedic physical therapy. This includes treatment of any musculoskeletal injury/condition of the spine and extremities and biomechanical analysis for runners, throwers and all other athletes.
John is based at Intermountain's Spanish Fork Physical Therapy Clinic.
