What is the right hearing aid for you? It's as simple as ABC!
A: Choose the right professional.
The right professional will likely be an audiologist who not only can perform a hearing test but has the knowledge and understanding of the underlying factors behind all hearing problems. They will also have the experience and moral principles to guide you to the best remedy for your condition.
B. Choose the right business.
The right business has a solid reputation and permanence in the community. The right business doesn't participate in deceptive advertising or price gimmicks. It is not known for its volume of advertising, but by its quality of care. It will stand behind its products and business practices because its mission statement is all about helping people and providing them with the best care available. If not satisfied for any reason, you can return hearing aids for full credit. You will find no sales pressure of any kind. The right business provides professional service after the sale, with many repairs being performed right in the office.
C. Choose the right hearing aid.
The hearing aid that your neighbor has or the newest, smallest, most advertised or most expensive instrument may not be the device that is best suited for you. The right professional will be able to give you objective information and counsel so you can make an informed decision about this important purchase. You should be able to select from different brands and the newest technologies to find the right hearing aid for you.
