The Sports Performance Training Center at Utah Valley Regional Medical Center is a training gym that focuses on one thing: making you a better athlete. We train athletes in all sports and activities, ranging from baseball, soccer, volleyball, swimming, football and even ice skating.
Training sessions are supervised by certified trainers who have the experience and knowledge to guide you as you speed up, trim down and become more powerful. Our trainers are dedicated to helping you achieve your goals. Training is individualized and directed at meeting your fitness and athletic goals.
Common aspects of training may include:
Typical training programs run for 6 to 8 weeks, amounting to 18 individualized sessions. A suggested training schedule is 2 to 3 times a week. At the beginning of the program, athletes are given a pretest. After the program has completed, athletes are again assessed, and their progress charted.
