Janice Kapp Perry 

Janice Kapp Perry

Janice Kapp Perry was born in Ogden, Utah, raised in Vale, Oregon, and currently lives in Provo, Utah. She and her husband Douglas have been married for 55 years, have five children, 13 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren. Through the years they have also had many foster children. Janice received her musical training at Brigham Young University in Provo and has been writing and recording gospel music for over 35 years. Her hymn As Sisters in Zion is in the LDS hymnal and several songs in the Children’s Songbook. She retired from singing with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir in 1999. In 1994 Janice received the Exemplary Woman award from Ricks College. In 1997 she received the BYU Alumni Distinguished Service Award. The Perrys served a full-time LDS mission to Santiago Chile from 2002-03. BYU Broadcasting recently filmed a 60-minute documentary of her life titled Janice Kapp Perry: A Life of Service and Song.


Sue Bergin

Sue Bergin

Sue Bergin is a writer and hospice chaplain who lives in Orem. She earned a bachelor's degree from Brigham Young Universeity, a master's degree in journalism from Northwestern University, and a master of fine arts from UCLA. She writes the Family Focus section for BYU Magazine, wrote the book Am I a Saint Yet? Healing the Pain of Perfectionism, and has written for many other publications, including the San Francisco Chronicle, The Wall Street Journal, and Psychology Today. She has been a public relations executive for BYU and has tuaght writing courses at BYU and the University of Utah. Some of her favorite things are gentle hikes, dinner parties, deep conversations, and the natural world, especially animals.

Carine Clark

Carine Clark

Carine Clark is formerly SVP and CMO for Symantec. In this role, Clark was responsible for global campaign and field marketing, partner and product marketing, branding and marketing communications as well as public relations and analyst relations.

Clark has 25 years of experience building successful software companies. As an executive at Altiris and Novell, she was responsible for driving top and bottom-line company growth. Her leadership helped establish Altiris as one of the fastest growing technology companies in the world.

Throughout her career, Clark has directed and integrated diverse teams including product management, sales support, alliance, field and global marketing, event, brand and communications management. She has demonstrated expertise in bringing companies and people together through dozens of acquisitions with the exceptional ability to quickly promote best practices and to drive integrated teams toward common goals.

Clark received a master’s degree in business administration as well as a bachelor’s degree in organizational communications from Brigham Young University. She has been recognized with numerous awards, including recently being ranked by ExecRank as #47 of all CMO’s worldwide in 2012. She’s also received the Women Tech Leadership Excellence Award, the 25th Annual TWIN Award, and the Silicon Slopes v100 Award.

Jeanette Bennett

Jeanette Bennett

Jeanette Bennett is the wife of one, mother of five and owner of several magazines, including Utah Valley Magazine, BusinessQ Magazine, Prosper Magazine and Utah Valley Bride. She and her husband, Matt, started their publishing company in 1998 with an idea and a credit card. Sixteen years later, the Bennett’s oversee a staff of 15 and produce about 35 magazines each year.

Jeanette earned a bachelor's and master's degree in journalism from BYU, and she has been a regular guest on HuffPostLive. She has a love/hate relationship with deadlines, running and the stock market — and a love/love relationship with glossy pages, watching her kids play sports and enjoying Utah's canyons. She is raising her family in Cedar Hills, where she also loves being a cheerleader for today's young women.

Traci Heiner

Traci Heiner

Traci Heiner has worked at Utah Valley Regional Medical Center Cardiac Rehab for the past 25 years. It has been a great opportunity to play a small role in helping individuals recover from such a traumatic life event.

She earned a bachelor's degree in exercise physiology and a master’s degree in health promotion, both from Brigham Young University. She began her career at Utah Valley Regional Medical Center while completing an internship for her bachelor’s degree.

Traci has three sons that take up most of her spare time. She’s their number one fan in whatever activity they’re participating in. They’ve saved just enough time for her to still run races or compete in triathlons. It’s much easier to stay active if there is a goal in sight!
