A Hospital for Today and Tomorrow
Valley View Medical Center has changed a lot since it replaced the old Iron County Hospital in 1963. What hasn't changed is our commitment to providing excellence in healthcare. Valley View has been named a national Top 100 Hospital for three consecutive years by HCIA Inc., a national health care research group, as published in Modern Healthcare magazine. Valley View is fully accredited by the Joint Commission, and is a service of Intermountain Healthcare, a nonprofit healthcare system serving the Intermountain West. The current hospital campus was originally constructed in 2003, and has had major additions in 2006, 2008, 2010 and 2012. Valley View is a 48-bed hospital and is nearly 170,000 square feet.
