The Foundation of Valley View Medical Center is pleased to announce their first annual Holiday Jubilee, November 18 – 21, 2011. This four day event will be held in the concourse of Valley View Medical Center and includes everything from Santa Clause to holiday sweets, from designer Christmas trees to wreaths and will have live entertainment from throughout Iron County. All proceeds from this event go to supporting the expansion of the Sandra L. Maxwell Cancer Treatment Center and donations are tax deductable. General Admittance is free and event hours will be as follows:
- Friday, November 18th – Opens 6:00 pm – Closes 9:00 pm
- Saturday, November 19th – Opens 10:00 am – Closes 8:00 pm
- Sunday, November 20th – Opens 10:00 am – Closes 8:00 pm
- Monday, November 21st – Opens 6:00 pm – Closes 9:00 pm
The Foundation has been busy securing sponsorships and designers in order to create ten one of a kind designer Christmas trees. These ten trees range in varying sizes, from eight foot to twelve foot trees. The trees will be on display in the concourse of Valley View Medical Center during the Holiday Jubilee and following the event the trees will be delivered to the home or business of those who rented the tree. Just think, you could have beautiful one of a kind designer Christmas tree to enjoy from Thanksgiving to New Years without going to all of the work and hassle. Trees are limited and will rent on a first come first serve basis, so be sure to make your reservation today!
During this event you will also have the opportunity to check in with Santa and make sure that he gets what you want on your Christmas list. While you are wandering around in a winter wonderland take time to enjoy a holiday treat or sit and listen to live entertainment. While you are there, don’t forget to check out the hospital Gift Shop and get some of your holiday shopping done for your friends and neighbors.
