Personal Bio & Interests

I currently coach professional cyclists including Levi Leipheimer and George Hincapie. Previously, I coached Lance Armstrong, Andy Hampsten, and triathletes Chris Lieto, and Steve Larsen.
My wife Julie is a marathon runner and our son and daughter are active in tennis, soccer, skiing, and swimming.
When I'm not practicing medicine, developing and coaching professional and amateur athletes, attending to cyclists on the pro tour, or writing books about sports performance, I love to cycle and ski.
