Huntsman-Intermountain Cancer Education Centers

Huntsman-Intermountain Cancer Education Centers are in development across the state of Utah, to bring cancer education and information closer to families in their home communities. Centers will be located in Huntsman-Intermountain Cancer Centers, and at select Intermountain hospitals and clinics.

Cancer Education Centers offer the following features:

• Open to the public during published hours.
• Common core holdings of books and brochures about cancer and specific tumor types that are reviewed and updated every six months.
• Standardized criteria for selection of additional books or other materials.
• Access to the main branch – Huntsman Cancer Learning Center's extensive holdings – with delivery of materials to your home, free of charge.
• Computer and Internet access for searching online cancer education resources.
• Access to toll-free cancer information phone service.
• Assistance by trained volunteers or staff in most centers.
