With guidance from a strategic planning conference and, input from local and national thought leaders, the CGI team works to maximize available resources, and to further several major initiatives.
Genetic testing has become an important part of medical care. While genetic tests may hold the promise of improved care and treatment, there are also risks relating to accuracy, cost and usefulness. These concerns have led to the formation of the Genetic Testing Practice Council (GTPC).
The Advisory Board serves some very important functions as a cross discipline knowledge resource for the Clinical Genetics Institute.
