Cardiac Rehab is intended for patients who have had any type of cardiac disorder or procedure that might reduce their functional capacity. It is intended to improve physical fitness, self confidence, and education. Increasing level of exercise using various exercise equipment is achieved in a monitored setting to provide the safest and most effective environment to rehabilitate.
Phase I is inpatient. Phase II is early post discharge. Phase III is monitored rehabilitation and Phase IV is loosely supervised maintenance exercise.
