Daniel Nelsen, Ameriprise Financial, Board Chair "As I learned about all the families who leave the hospital with a loved one who continues to require medical care, and in some cases will spend the rest of their lives taking care of them at home, I wondered to myself who is helping them, and what support do they have? Our foundation does this, and helps the whole family have a better life. That is important to me. That is why I got involved."

Brent Andrewsen, JD, Kirton & McConkie, Planned Giving Co-Chair "Since joining the Board for the Foundation for Homecare & Hospice, I have been continually touched to discover the needs many of our Utah families have relative to in-home care, and hospice. I've also been impressed by the caring and professional service rendered in meeting such needs. It truly is a privilege to be involved with an organization with such a worthwhile mission and dedicated people who work tirelessly to see that mission fulfilled."

Judy Blaufuss, RN, MSN, Primary Children's Medical Center (Retired), Women's Giving Group Co-Chair "As a retired nurse and past nursing executive for Primary Children's Medical Center, I was well aware of the struggles that families with technology dependent children have, both emotionally and financially. These children need our help badly and I am proud to be part of the Foundation for Homecare & Hospice board who have identified these children as being a high priority for the charity dollars that we raise."

Jan Goodrich, Assistant Vice President, Intermountain Homecare "This cause helps to lighten the load of patients and their families who find themselves caught in nearly impossible hardships. We can't take away all their difficulties, but we can give them a bit of hope, and help ease their burdens just enough to strive for a brighter future."

Mark Huggins, Communications Director, Intermountain Homecare "Every dollar I hand to the Foundation for Homecare & Hospice helps restore hope in those beleaguered with illness or physical limitations. For many of us it is not a gift, but rather an investment that we know will make a lasting difference. I have been fortunate to see this difference first hand. For me, it's the right thing to do."

Kelly Kiyota, UPS, Annual Giving Chair
"I have had the privilege of becoming acquainted with Intermountain Homecare through my job with UPS. I have seen the impact they have on the communities in which they serve, and I was honored when they asked me to be a part of their effort to continue to serve those in need in our community. Their mission aligns well with my personal beliefs, as well as those of my employer, UPS: a commitment to giving back, leaving things better than we found them, leaving a legacy for those who follow."

Karen Mayne, Utah State Senator, Women's Giving Group Co-Chair "It was easy for me to join the Foundation for Homecare & Hospice. I was a caretaker for my late husband and I know the challenges that journey holds. So being a part of a group dedicating its time and energy to helping others is a joy. Sharing our mission of hope and future for our children is a responsibility we embrace."

Chris Nelson, JD, Ray Quinney & Nebeker, Planned Giving Co-Chair "My first experience with Homecare came when my son was born jaundiced, fifteen years ago. While this was not a severe condition, Intermountain Homecare made it possible for my wife and me to care for our son in our home. We will be forever grateful for these services, and now endeavor to support the Foundation for Homecare & Hospice so that the best possible homecare and hospice services can be provided to our community without regard for ability to pay."

A truly worthy investment."
