As the Intermountain area’s premier not-for-profit Homecare provider, our responsibility to those with reduced capacity increases dramatically with each reduction of insurance benefits or increase in premium. In the last year alone our charity care provided to the community increased 27% from $2.9 million to $3.7 million.

 

With the reality of ever-shrinking reimbursement, combined with dramatic increases in costs of providing healthcare, and the rapidly growing demand for charity care, Intermountain Homecare must seek the community’s support and philanthropic resources through the Foundation for Homecare and Hospice to realize this mission.
