Intermountain Medical Center is a large, state of the art facility housing two laboratory drawing stations. Intermountain Medical Center Phlebotomists are trained professionals who collect laboratory specimens through blood collection techniques. The staff is focused on each individual patient and is committed to making each lab visit a positive experience by providing extraordinary service in all its dimensions. The phlebotomists pride themselves in creating a caring and confidential environment for our patients. They collect a wide variety of samples for many different types of tests from chemistry to transfusion. In addition, patient population ranges from newborns to geriatrics so they are diligent to maintain very proficient skills. Draw stations are open 7 days a week and offer flexible hours with no appointments needed.

The Outreach Phlebotomy team consists of 52 team members operating 18 individual draw sites from Layton to Provo. The phlebotomists work within physician’s offices to directly assist their patients or within a draw site adjacent to several physicians’ offices. The majority of our sites function as an insurance clearinghouse allowing us to service all insurance payers. This past year alone over 128,000 patients were served across these 18 draw stations.
