Below are some comments from Intermountain Employees:
"I love working for Intermountain Healthcare because they genuinely care about their patients and their employees. Every job is important, and Intermountain makes you feel appreciated for what you do. Working here, I realize how much effort goes on behind the scenes to make sure we give the best care possible, which makes me feel good about the work I do. Everyone is so nice and they go above and beyond to make you feel welcome as a new employee. I have gained many friendships while working here, and I love knowing that when I come to work, I am surrounded by people who care about me and I enjoy being in their company. There is a sense of comradery at Intermountain Healthcare and I am glad to be a part of it."

"My name is Julie. I moved to Utah about two years ago from California. Being a new phlebotomist it was very difficult to find a job. When I moved to Utah with my family I applied at a few places and never heard anything back. Then I applied at Intermountain Medical Center and I was so grateful to even get an interview. About a week after the interview, I received a phone call and was offered the job. After looking and looking for a position I was so grateful to get hired here at Intermountain Medical Center. I have now been here a year and a half and I love it. I have had the opportunity to work in both inpatient and outpatient areas. My work experience with Intermountain Healthcare has strengthened my phlebotomy skills and has improved my knowledge of the "why" and "how" of laboratory tests. It’s so nice to be surrounded by happy, positive people all the time. It really makes work a lot more fun."

"As a Specimen Processor, I have thoroughly enjoyed my job for a few reasons. The environment at the lab allows every employee to have fun on the job while maintaining a professional atmosphere. Every day provides challenges and opportunities to learn and grow because each day is a new adventure. However, even though you can find similar settings or experiences through other employment options, there is one that is unique, and it happens to be the best aspect of the job. Every day I get to be a part of providing excellent healthcare to thousands of people in the community. In the end, helping people is what matters most. That is why I love my job!"
