  • When you or your child has a medical need, where do you get good advice on treatment options?
  • Does an upset stomach require a doctor's appointment or something more urgent?

Knowing when to call your family physician or seek more urgent care at an InstaCare or at a hospital emergency room can help you receive the most appropriate care, which can save time and money.

A tool for kids, teens, and parents: Intermountain's Primary Children's Medical Center is partnering with an award-winning source of information about health, behavior, and development from before birth through the teen years. The site, KidsHealth, provides easy-to-read information about diseases, nutrition, parenting, growth, development, and many other topics. And, all KidsHealth articles, animations, games, and other content go through a rigorous medical review by pediatricians and other medical experts. Ongoing medical reviews ensure the information is as up-to-date as possible.
