Layton, Utah Botox, Fillers, Vein Treatment & Skin Care

Dr. Lori Ramirez is a board certified dermatologist providing a range of skin services to those from Layton, Utah and surrounding communities. Dr. Ramirez provides general dermatology as well as cosmetic skin services. An extremely well-trained dermatologist, Dr. Ramirez has completed fellowships in both melanoma and HIV dermatology. She gladly accepts all patients including children, adolescents, and adults.

Skin Care and Medical Skin Disorder Treatment

The condition of any patient's skin can be improved through examination, advice, and recommendation of skin care products or medication. We treat skin disorders of all kinds, from routine rashes, acne, or psoriasis, to complicated medical dermatological conditions.

Dr. Ramirez is exceptionally knowledgeable of melanoma and all skin cancers. She provides evaluation of moles and potential skin cancers.

Photo Dynamic Therapy (PDT)

Photo dynamic therapy is effective for patients who have chronic sun damage. It is an FDA approved treatment for ‘pre-cancerous’ (e.g. actinic keratosis) lesions on the face, scalp or ears. This simple treatment is well tolerated and is done in the office using a topical medication called Levulan and a ‘blue light’.

Botox

For a more youthful and natural appearance, Botox is FDA approved to soften lines between the eyebrows, around the eyes, and on the forehead. Botox is a quick, simple, safe procedure with excellent results and little recovery.

Filler Injections

Radiesse and Juvederm Ultra Plus

Want to instantly smooth away wrinkles around your nose and mouth? Juvederm Ultra Plus and Radiesse are fillers that can rejuvenate multiple problem areas, from smile lines to vertical lip lines. These fillers minimize unwanted wrinkles, restore volume and bring out the natural contours of the face to diminish the signs of aging.

Vein Treatment (Sclerotherapy)

There are several factors that contribute to venous reflux disease and varicose veins: age, family history, multiple pregnancies, obesity, or standing for prolonged periods of time. Sclerotherapy is a procedure in which a solution (composed of either hypertonic saline or polidocanol) is injected into small unwanted veins to minimize their appearance.
