A Maternal Fetal Medicine doctor is an obstetrician/gynecologist who has completed two to three years of additional training and formal education and clinical experience. Our doctors have extensive knowledge of the medical, obstetrical, genetic, and surgical complications of pregnancy and their effects on the mother and the fetus.
We also have board certified geneticist and genetic counselors to consult with patients who are dealing with fetal abnormalities or a family history of pregnancy complications.
