Dr. Jeremy Rinard provides cosmetic and reconstructive surgery services, including melanoma treatment and surgical reconstruction for trauma. As one of few Utah plastic surgeons trained in DIEP Flap Reconstruction, he has expertise in breast reconstruction and microsurgery. He also specializes in cosmetic surgery of the face and body contouring procedures such as liposuction and tummy tuck.
Dr. Rinard completed his medical degree and general surgery residency at Texas Tech University. He had additional plastic surgery training at Texas A&M University before fulfilling a microsurgery fellowship at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. During his fellowship, he perfected microsurgical techniques for the treatment of cancer, trauma, and breast reconstruction.
Dr. Christopher Shale provides cosmetic and reconstructive surgery services. He graduated from the University of California at Berkeley with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nuclear Engineering. After earning his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, Dr. Shale completed a surgical internship at Naval Medical Center San Diego. As a physician in the US Navy Medical Corps, Dr. Shale had the honor of serving with the Marines of Heavy Marine Helicopter Squadron 463 as their flight surgeon for deployments to Southeast Asia and Iraq. He was awarded a Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal and an Air Medal for combat flights in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Dr. Shale returned to his surgical training, completing his general and plastic surgery training at Texas A+M, Scott & White Hospital. Dr. Shale, his wife, Maggie, and their three daughters are thrilled to be joining the Intermountain Healthcare family and serve the community of Northern Utah.
