Surgery can be a scary word for many patients. At Salt Lake Clinic, we understand the fear that comes with surgery and do our best to put you at ease. Our surgery team is highly experienced with doctors, nurses and other important staff. When you meet with a member of our team for a surgery consultation, we will explain the surgery, and any special instructions. During your consultation we will also give you an idea of recovery time, and what to expect before, during, and immediately after surgery.

We manage a broad spectrum of surgical conditions including things like gastrointestinal disease, breast disease, endocrinologic disease, and hernia repair.
How to Prepare
Preparing for surgery is an important part of your surgical process. Our surgeons or staff will notify you of the specific preparation instructions for your surgery. In some cases you will be asked to fast for 24-48 hours prior to surgery. If you have questions about how to prepare for surgery, ask one of our doctors or nurses.
