Collagen and Fillers

Over the years, facial skin often loses volume, making the lips and skin look less full and healthy. Fillers are synthetic materials that are injected into the face to restore youthfulness.

Fillers are used for lip plumping as well as the treatment of wrinkles and folds. We often employ collagen and fillers to treat these areas of the face:

  • nasolabial folds (the lines from the nose to the outside corners of the mouth)
  • marionette lines (the lines just below the corners of the lips)
  • cheeks
  • tear troughs (dark under-eye circles)

    Cosmoderm® and Cosmoplast®

    Primarily used to fill fine lines and wrinkles, Cosmoderm and Cosmoplast may also be injected into the lips to give a fuller appearance.

    Hydrelle®

    Hydrelle is gently injected under the skin into the mid to deep dermis, smoothing away facial wrinkles and folds.

    Hylaform® & Hylaform Plus®

    Injections are performed in the office. The results typically last 3-6 months.

    Juvederm®

    Juvederm is commonly used for "plumping" or for treating wrinkles and folds.

    Radiesse®

    Radiesse is a highly unique wrinkle filler that can last for up to 2 years.

    Restylane®

    Restylane® is a long-lasting gel that, when injected into the skin with an ultra-fine needle, lifts and adds volume to lips and other areas being treated.

    Zyderm® and Zyplast®

    Zyderm® and Zyplast® are fillers utilizing collagen.
