Dupuytren’s Contracture

Dupuytren’s contracture is a contracture of the hand in which the connective tissue in the hand thickens, which causes the fingers to bend into the palm, unable to be straightened. This condition is treated by Dr. Hancey and Dr. Lindley.

Surgical repair of Dupuytren's contracture removes the excess tissue through an incision in the palm. Alternatively, a non-surgical treatment approach involves injections into the palm to break up the cord.
