Skin cancer has many forms. The three most common are Basal Cell Carcinoma (BCC), Squamous Cell Carcinoma (SCC), and Melanoma.
Pre-cancerous and suspicious lesions of the skin may require biopsy. Proven skin cancers can generally be removed surgically, followed by reconstruction performed by one of our surgeons. During these procedures, Dr. Hancey and Dr. Lindley strive to provide a comfortable experience with excellent outcomes. Often, pathologists will be involved to ensure that all cancer is completely removed.
We treat melanoma--including lymph node sampling via sentinel lymph node biopsy when required. Our doctors take part in the melanoma tumor board meeting held monthly at LDS Hospital and the Huntsman Cancer Institute.
