He also spent a month in Australia as Visiting Medical Officer for the Department of Cardiology at Royal Brisbane Hospital. After his residency, Dr. Manchanda completed a fellowship in cardiovascular disease at Geisinger Medical Center in Pennsylvania and was chosen as Chief Fellow. The medical center presented him with the Best Resident Research Award for both 2008 and 2009.
