Patient Admitting

Upon arriving at the hospital, please check in with the admitting office located on the second floor. You may have already received instructions for pre-registration and for insurance pre-authorization. Most insurance companies require pre-authorization for hospital admissions. In most cases, it is the responsibility of the patient to pre-authorize hospital admissions with their insurance company prior to admission.

At the time of admission we will:

Obtain or confirm patient and insurance information
Secure signatures on consent forms
Collect co-payments or deductibles

Alta View Hospital cannot assume responsibility for loss of personal articles. It is wise to leave valuables such as large amounts of cash, keepsake items and jewelry at home. If you do have valuables with you at the time of admittance, please send them home with a loved one.
