American Fork Hospital to host Breast Cancer Awareness 5K fun run/walk

American Fork, Utah—Runners and walkers of all ages are invited to participate in American Fork Hospital's annual 5K fun run and walk – Mike's Mad Dash – scheduled for Saturday, September 29 at 9 a.m.

The event will kick off the hospital's recognition of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, celebrating breast cancer survivorship, honoring those who have lost their battle with the disease, and raising awareness about prevention and treatment.

Advanced registration is $10 and provides participants with a t-shirt and refreshments and entry into the prize drawing. Same day registration is $15 will begin at 8 a.m. in the lobby of the Huntsman-Intermountain Cancer Center at American Fork Hospital, located at 170 North 1100 East in American Fork.

The race course is a great speed run on flat roads through local neighborhoods east of the hospital. All runners who make it to the finish line before the hospital's administrator will receive a free pair of movie tickets! For more information, call 855-3279.
