Breast Cancer
Prevention & Screening

You have a better chance of beating breast cancer if your doctor finds and treats it early. Regular breast cancer screening is the best way of detecting cancer early.

From age 20 to 39, it is recommended that women get a clinical breast exam, performed by a doctor during an office visit, every three years.

Starting at age forty, a yearly clinical breast exam is recommended. In addition, women are advised to have a mammogram once a year at this age.
