How do I apply?
- Pick up an application at the snack bar
- Applicants will be called and scheduled for an interview with the director of volunteer services approximately one week from when application is received
- Placement in most cases will be determined following the interview
What kind of volunteering is offered?
- Volunteers work weekly four-hour shifts
- Volunteers are utilized in patient and family comfort services, snack bar/gift shop, information desk, clerical and various fundraising activities
- Hospice volunteers care for the terminally ill
- Pet Therapy
- Also opportunities for leadership positions with special activities
What are the requirements for new volunteers?
- New volunteers are required to attend volunteer orientation and in-service training, as provided, for their area of service
- Background checks
- Free of charge TB (tuberculosis) testing required annually with some exceptions
- Immunization records for juniors and parental consent forms
What projects are CRMC volunteers involved in?
- Festival of Trees and activities that raise needed funds for hospital equipment
- Cassia County Fair
- Blood mobile drive
