St. George, UtahMore than 400 infants received specialized care at Dixie Regional Medical Center's (DRMC) Newborn Intensive Care Unit (NICU) during the previous 12 months.

These babies, or "NICU Graduates," and their families will have the chance to reunite or even meet for the first time as DRMC hosts the second annual NICU Graduate Reunion. The reunion will be from 2-4 p.m. on Nov. 10 in the patio area of the Sandstone Café on Dixie Regional's River Road Campus.

"Part of my hope is to create a support group for parents and families," said Barbara Lang, RN and NICU case manager. "Babies who spend time in the NICU go through some really intensive care." Infants are admitted to the NICU for a variety of illnesses and injuries and usually stay from three weeks to five months.

For more information about this event, please call 688-4271 or 251-2159.
