Cancer Care Close to Home

The Huntsman-Intermountain Cancer Center in St. George was the second of its kind to open as part of the alliance between Intermountain Healthcare and Huntsman Cancer Institute.

The center combines Intermountain's clinical expertise with Huntsman Cancer Institute's research capabilities to offer the best care possible. The center's services include medical oncology (chemotherapy) and radiation oncology (radiation therapy) services, along with a Radiation Exposure Screening and Education Program, a service unique to this area that screens people concerned about an elevated risk for cancer due to radiation exposure. In addition, a comprehensive library of cancer-related materials can be found in the Huntsman-Intermountain Cancer Education Center.

DRMC's Cancer Services provides complete diagnosis, treatment and research services including chemotherapy, radiation therapy, experimental protocols and full surgical options. Educational materials and support programs are also available.
