Intermountain Patient Billing
Frequently Asked Questions
Answers to Frequently Asked Billing Questions
Q. Can I make payment arrangements or combine all my Intermountain Healthcare bills?
A. Payment arrangements are best made by contacting us at the telephone number listed on your statement.
Interest-free Payment Plan
You can set up a 90-day interest-free payment plan by calling the telephone number listed on your statement. We can automatically deduct your payment from your checking account or credit card (we accept MasterCard, VISA, Discover and American Express credit cards, as well as debit cards), or you can mail full payment on your account.
Other Payment Plans
If you need to take more time to pay your balance, or if you have bills with multiple Intermountain facilities, you can call and finance your balance using our in-house finance agency, Hospital Acceptance Corporation (HAC). There is an interest charge if you choose this option. Interest on these accounts is significantly lower than unsecured loans available at local financial institutions.
Please call the telephone number listed on any billing statement that you have received. Our representatives will be happy to assist you with a payment arrangement.
