Intermountain Trauma Services

Trauma Services for Intermountain Healthcare provides trauma and emergency medical services to treat patients from broad geographic regions, responding to the most serious medical situations.

Intermountain's region-wide trauma system provides unique benefits, including:

Highly specialized medical facilities and services - such as Primary Children's Medical Center, LDS Hospital, and the Life Flight transport system - allow Intermountain to provide emergency medical care and transport critically ill or injured patients, supported by expert teams of skilled clinical professionals.

Community outreach programs include participation in the state emergency medical services program and trauma prevention education at schools, health fairs, and in the media. Trauma related professional development is provided through sponsorship of a regional trauma conference.
