Leg Cramps (Claudication)

One symptom of peripheral artery disease is cramping or pain in your legs when you walk, particularly when you walk uphill or up stairs. This pain, also called claudication, goes away when you rest. If you have leg pain when you walk, contact and inform your healthcare provider - don’t ignore this important sign.
