Intermountain Homecare Hospice Volunteers
No other form of health care embraces volunteers as enthusiastically as Hospice.
Volunteers are fundamental to the Hospice concept and are used in all aspects of the program.

Hospice Volunteer Opportunities
  1. Bereavement Support: Serve as companions to caregivers after the death of a loved one. Assist in providing support to the bereaved during the first year of recovery.
  2. Patient Support: Share hobbies, provide companionship, listening, run errands, read, complete projects, provide caregiver support and respite.
  3. Pastoral Care Volunteers: Community clergy and lay ministers who serve as caregivers to patients with a life limiting illness.
  4. Fundraising: Assist with ongoing programs and events that not only provide necessary funds to support Intermountain Homecare Hospice, but promote and educate the community about the philosophy of Hospice.
  5. Special Events & Projects: Volunteers offer services on an "as needed" basis, for projects such as mailings, errands, calligraphy, special celebrations, memorial services or other events.
