Each resident receives 3 weeks paid vacation/personal leave.
Other benefits include:

- Full professional liability coverage is paid by Intermountain.
A food allowance is provided for time on call and two meals are provided free of charge on all weekdays. Digital pagers and white coats are provided. Covered parking adjacent to the hospital is free. Access to fitness facilities is available 24 hours a day at no charge.
An ACLS course is provided immediately prior to the beginning of the academic year free of charge.
24-hour library access, internet access including subscription to a broad range of electronic journals and medical databases, photocopying and an e-mail account are all provided free of charge.
